  1. I don't have a grinder or coffee press … don't have a kitchen back (assistant) like you do either. Darn!!!! LOL Might just have to see about the grinder and press, but think I'm out of luck with the kitchen assistant. Enjoy your how-to videos, Alton!!

  2. Add 1 teaspoon of folgers in a cup of water heated for 1 minute in microwave. 1.5 tsp of sugar, 2 tsp of milk…Done…having coffee shouldnt be a science project.

  3. TOTALLY LOST ALL FAITH IN U WITH THIS 1 ALTON !!!

WHAT IF U DONT HAVE CHOPSTICKS ?!?!

WHEN PPL ASK YOU HOW U LIKE YOUR COFFEE U SAY…………..SAD, MICROWAVED, AND SAD

    JUST SAD

PS 30 SECONDS TO PLUNGE !? A LITTLE MUCH THERE BUDDY

  4. Personally think James Hoffmann's french press method is better. Smoother, bolder, much less bitter and doesn't have that gross sludgy crap at the bottom of the cup that normally comes with brewing in a french press. It takes about 4-5 minutes longer, but it's so much more worth it if you have the time.

  5. You American motherfuckers love to over-intellectualize everything to make yourselves appear educated and intelligent.

When you drink a cup of coffee, you can instantly tell if its great or good or bad coffee. But you cannot tell if it was made using 212F or 200F or 205F or 195F water😂😂

So stop making fools out of yourselves and learn how to SAVOUR the taste of great coffee instead of imitating the silly liberal leftist attitude of arguing over the tiniest, insignificant, unimportant details.

Your cup of coffee tonight will not be your last cup. So, dont busy yourselves with technicalities that produce no discernable differences.

  6. Do you think the cupboard between your OVEN and REFRIGERATOR is the coolest place in your kitchen? Like those appliances don't create any heat in the surrounding area?

  7. Alton, I cherish you and your cooking advice. However, I have to say that if you boil the grounds at a rolling boil for about 6 minutes then you won't need that salt because the tannins will be broken down more effectively than simply letting it steep in the press 🙂

  8. If you will take water quality/purity in consiration don't dump chopsticks and microwave it you just changed the taste of the water which later changes the flavor of the coffee.
