  2. to make the cauliflower crispy, i would try to precook it for 1-2 minutes, then dip it into the batter and fry it and serve immediately. obviously, it would not be as healthy anymore, but my mom uses to prepare cauliflower like this, using the three step breading process before frying it and they are always crispy.
