  1. I think you can use dulce-de-leche for the filling (may be adding the flour also to set) which is all over the place here in Latin America.

  2. I just made these and they're delicious. Thank you for another great recipe, Laura!!! I did replace a few ingredients because I was out of some of the required ones. I used "dulce de leche" instead of caramel and "paçoca" (peanuts ground with salt and sugar) instead of the quick oats. I also sprinkled "paçoca" all over the "dulce de leche".

  4. Hi Laura! I was just wondering for the caramel, is that 12 oz. weight wise or flow oz.? Or for an easier question to answer, is a full recipe of your caramel sauce or a half recipe used for these oat bars?
