  1. Put your sliced apples in a large pot with a lid . Mix sure sugar cinnamon Etc together in a separate Bowl. Pour vanilla and lemon over the apples and put lid on pot and Shake vigorously. Remove lid and pour on sugar mixture all over the apples and shake once again. You get a better distribution than just stirring.

  2. Love apple pies. I've learned how to make delicious apple slices from my mom..There is nothing nicer than being greeted with aromas of apple slices or a pie as soon as you open the door.Meat roasts are also driving people mad.True, once I was roasting some meat and my visitor begged me to give him some.He is also Italian πŸ™‚

  3. AppeltaartπŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°! Beautiful done LauraπŸ₯³. We have 2 kinds of apple pie. The one you made is a apple crumble pie and the classic one has raisins mixed with the apple filling and a grid of dough on top. We serve the apple pie with whipped cream or if we want something extra extra we serve it with a scoop of ice cream (🀫 t h e b e s t t h i n g e v e rπŸ˜‡).

  4. I love our appel kruimel but this isn't the Dutch version of a Apple pie. This is more an Apple crumble. But it looks really delicious and makes me want to make appeltaart with my son πŸ₯°

  6. I make a similar topping for all of my fruit pies, especially if they have apples in them. It's kind of like the topping on a coffee cake. This time of year I usually make apple-cranberry pies and in the spring/summer I do apple-blackberry. Delicious… thanks for sharing this!

  8. Yuuuuum! That's pretty much the way we make Apple crumble here in Australia. Soooo good. A few variations around, but the crumbly stuff on top the pastry and the apples … I'm going to have to go make some after being inspired. Thank you! πŸ’–
