  1. Using lard instead of butter also makes them come out so flaky and beautiful! Is there anything more delish than a hot, well-buttered homemade buttermilk biscuit? Not in my world!

  2. There is really no need to keep folding and folding the dough. My southern biscuit recipe comes out fluffy and layered withOUT the folding. I just roll once and it the biscuits out. Your recipe may need adjusting

  3. this is exactly how i make my biscuits at home, except when they are finish and i take them out of the oven, i brush them with melted butter and that just keep it moist.. thanks for sharing.. :)..
