  1. Going to try this. Might want to say that the challah should be sliced about 3/4 inch thick. I usually sprinkle mine with cinamon and powdered sugar. I think you kinda look like elaine from seinfeld.

  2. When she said, "this is why I love weekends", I was like, "DAMN! You dress like that on weekends?! I usually wear pajamas all day and eat corn flakes for breakfast"!!

  3. I just recently for some reason started enjoying cooking and I can't wait to make this. I would love to see the casserole. Thank you for the video! πŸ˜†β€

  4. Looks delicious Laura. I make french toast all the time, but it never occurred to me to use heavy cream in my custard instead of just my usual 1%milk lol. I can't wait to try that.

  5. Thanks Laura!!! I used this recipe this morning for my fiance! He loved it. I added some nutmeg and cinnamon. I also topped it with some fresh strawberries, blueberries and powdered sugar! Thanks again. I enjoy you on your channel.

  6. For those looking to keep it super simple. Wisk up a couple of eggs. If you have it, add a little cinnamon (powder is what I use) and then dip your bread and fry it up in the butter (griddle or pan).

If you have a little powdered sugar, you can sprinkle some of that over the top, as well.

  7. Yes, yes. Soaking the bread not dipping the bread. Also notice that you tamped the bread down into the batter/custard this gets more of the luscious custard into the bread. If the batter doesn't soak though all you're doing is making fried bread. I like to use even more batter and after browning the bread will pop it into the oven to finish it off. Would love to see the video you make soaking overnight. Ciao For Now
