To make your own chocolate sprinkles, you start with confectioners sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Then add water, vanilla extract and a little bit of instant coffee to enhance the chocolate flavor. Mix until smooth, and then transfer mixture to a pastry bag. Using a pastry bag tip #2, make thin parallel lines on parchment paper. Let harden and then cut into equal sizes to make the chocolate sprinkles.
