  1. My favourite Christmas cookie. <3 They are Christmas cookie staples in Czech Republic, we even bake them in advance and leave them out in a box for cca 1 week. Then, they are super crumbly and as soon as you put them in your mouth they literally melt. It is a torture not being able to eat them right away but it's worth it.

  2. this was a complete fail for me! the dough was wayyy too sticky to the point where it just couldnt be lifted from the parchment. i had to throw the whole thing away beacuse it was a complete mess πŸ™ your recipes usually turn out so perfectly i really don't know what i did wrong :(((

  3. We used German rum and Vanillin Zucker in cookie. A really good European Raspberry jam. We used metal strainer for powered sugar. The cookie will break easy. We made these the other day, my friend from Germany, is Spitzbuben. Coconut Macaroons ( German recipe) with Lemon. That was the 2ND best Macaroon I ever had. The 1st come from The German Bakery in Las Vegas on Eastern Ave.

Laura please, you are followed internationally….only the U.S.of A. persists in using cups, tsp, tablespoons etc. which of course could not be more absurd-might you be so kind to include the metric equivalents for your excellent recipes,..this is what a good friend of mine wrote me upon looking up your recipe for Panettone–" No go all cups and weird U.S.of A. measures!!!!!!
