  1. I think this works for her because when she added the whipped topping on top she used a bit of pressure so that the filling is kind of mixed lightly with the cream, and maybe that's what makes it set

  2. For the people saying it was runny, it's believable because she didn't add anything to the mixture that will help it hold itself together. So what you can do is get 4oz of whipped cream or cool whip and gently fold it into the mixture. If you want it sweeter u can add more than 4 oz.

  3. make it exactly as she did but add two egg yolks per can of condensed … save the egg whites to whip with cream of tartar and sugar whip into a meringue instead of cool whip. Bake pie with meringue topping until golden brown 20-25 minutes 350.. pull out to cool and place in fridge over night enjoy next day

  4. I find it hard to believe that pie wasn't runny. No cream cheese or eggs?!!! How did it set with just lime juice and sweetened condense milk?!!! I really wish she had cut the pie so we could see what it looked like.

  5. I've been watching your other more recent videos and I'm watching this now and omg look at you Laura! You look like a baby! You even sound different! I can't wait to try this recipe. Please don't ever stop sharing your delicious recipes πŸ™‚

  6. Does anyone know what she is referring to with this "frozen whipped topping"? Does she mean whipped cream or something more store-bought like Cool Whip? I'm concerned that whipped cream might curdle with the citrus. Thoughts?

  7. made this pie many times, it has become one of our all times favorite desserts! I make it with store bought crust though, when I made it myself following this recipe I found the crust was too hard. But with the smaller ready crust, the filling is thicker and it sets to perfection. I usually make two at a time and freeze them, it takes only a few minutes to thaw a little so you can cut them πŸ™‚
